There are several ways to get here
From the bus and train station it doesn't take more than 15 minutes by foot.
Take Miklošičeva Street and go towards the main square which is called Prešeren square - it is located by the river. Don't be confused when you see three bridges. You're not that tired from your travel, it's just our famous triple bridge crossing. Cross one of the bridges and then turn to the right. Walk by the river Ljubljanica. You will pass many bars and restaurants. After about 400 m, just before Cobblers bridge, on Cankarjevo nabrežje 27 Street, you will see our AdHoc hostel in the corner of the building.
From the Ljubljana airport (Jože Pučnik Airport) - the airport is 30 km away from Ljubljana.
You can take a regular bus line. The bus stops at the main bus and train station. It takes about 50 minutes and it costs around 4 EUR.
At the airport you can also take different shuttle services (for example Markun shuttle) which will also take you to the main station or a little bit closer to the Prešeren square. The price for a shuttle service is usually around 9 € and it takes about 40 minutes.
If you decide to take a taxi, expect about a 35 EUR fee and 30 minute drive.
From the Ljubljana ring highway
Exit for Ljubljana Center. Follow the road signs to the Central Bus and Train station.
Since we are located in the pedestrian zone of the centre of Ljubljana, where you cannot enter with a car, we don't have our own parking space. The nearest option is parking house (a garage) under Kongresni trg square (about 39 EUR per day, about 1,2 EUR per hour first 3 hours, then 2,4 EUR per hour, from 0.00 till 7.00 1,8 EUR per night. The other option, also very near and much cheaper, is parking NUK (outside parking, about 16 EUR per day) between the following streets: Slovenska cesta, Zoisova cesta and Emonska cesta: 1,2 EUR per hour, from 19.00 till 7.00 1,8 EUR per night. You can also park on the street (for example at Grudnovo nabrezje street). Parking on the street is usually payable on weekdays from 7:00 to 17:00 and it costs around 0,40 EUR per hour. However you have to buy a parking ticket in advance and you can buy it for maximum 3 hours. If you will come during the weekend, then you're lucky, because on Saturdays and Sundays (until 7:00 a.m. on Monday mornings) parking on the street is free! But please be careful, don't park where the yellow or blue lines are (usually those are for residents with special permission). Park where the white lines are!
Also, let us just remind you that you need the vignette to drive on Slovenian highways!
